Bakery Vehicle for Togetherness Women’s Bakery
The Togetherness Women’s Bakery is on the rise. This well-established women-run business continues to expand its capacity for customers and production. Now they are ready to grow even further and all they need are wheels! Friends of African Road are working together to raise $4,500 to release matching funds and help purchase a specially outfitted mobile bakery vehicle.
Menstrual Hygiene and Empowerment for Women & Girls in Burundi
In Mwendo village, Burundi, a group of women (and a few men) are learning to sew reusable menstrual pads. This is a community-powered solution that supports health, education, and opportunity.
Currently, the final step to finish the edging of each pad is being outsourced. Two special serger sewing machines will streamline the process and reduce production costs! Your gift today will have double the impact with matching funds! $1,200 raised = $1,200 matching funds released.
Empower Girls Through Sports in Rwanda
The youth soccer program at the Community of Togetherness in Rwanda is ready to expand and equip more girls through sports and team building.
Funds will help meet the costs for great coaching, mentoring, and equipment, ensuring this empowering program at Togetherness can continue strong and be a big win for the whole team! When $2,000 is raised, $2,000 in matching funds will be released!
