Whether you are attending the Festival Fun Run or are unable to join in, everyone is welcome to enter this raffle for a chance to win a place on an upcoming Learning Trip team! What you need to know:

  • Only 300 tickets in total will be sold during this raffle!
  • You must be in Oregon to purchase tickets
  • Drawing will be on Sunday, September 29th, 2024 at Champoeg State Park Heritage Area
  • Drawing time will be at 2:30 pm
  • Trip is valued at $5,500
  • The winner will be contacted by phone and email
  • Trip Date Details, the winner will choose between:
  • November 7-22, 2024 to Rwanda and Tanzania, 
  • OR…July 2025 (dates to be determined) to Rwanda and Burundi

Responsibility of traveler:

  • International airfare, comprehensive travel insurance, required vaccinations and travel medications, any alcoholic beverages.
  • Willingness and ability to fully participate in African Road team travel experience
  • A current passport good for more than six months after travel

Please note: Travelers can be denied participation at the organization’s discretion for reasons of health, safety or legal considerations. In such a situation, the $100 will be refunded and a second drawing will be conducted. Special approval from African Road needed for travelers under age 18, and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, joining at the retail cost of the trip.
